If you have some online shopping to take care of this afternoon, you are in luck as several of the online airline shopping portals are offering some March themed bonuses that could add up to thousands of bonus miles. My family racks up at least tens of thousands of easy airline miles each year just by doing this extra click before making online purchases.

Earn a Mystery Number of Bonus United Miles

Via a March Madness themed bonus, you can earn a ‘mystery’ number of bonus United miles. My bonus was 1,000 bonus United miles after a collective $300 in spending, but I have also seen a version of this bonus with 500 miles for $150 in spending.

Valid 3/16/2018 through 3/23/2018

This may or may not stack with a new customer offer that awards bonus miles for your first purchase in the United MileagePlus Shopping portal. That bonus awards 500 or 1,000 bonus United miles, depending on whether or not you have a United credit card. Thanks to Frequent Miler for spotting that offer

These bonuses, like all of the bonuses mentioned, will stack with the regular number of miles available in the shopping portal such as 12 United miles per dollar spent online at New Balance or 6 miles per dollar spent online at Neiman Marcus.

Earn 500 Bonus Alaska Miles with $200 in Spending

Alaska Airlines has a St. Patrick’s Day themed bonus running for a short time that will award 500 bonus Mileage Plan miles with $200 in cumulative spending in the Mileage Plan Shopping site.

Valid 3/16/2018 through 3/19/2018.

Earn 500 Bonus American AAdvantage Miles with $150 in Purchases

Just like the Alaska Airlines shopping bonus, you can earn 500 American Airlines AAdvantage miles with $150 in purchases made in the next couple of days by starting at the AAdvantage eShopping site.

Valid 3/16/2018 through 3/19/2018.

Has your family been able to maximize any of these recent shopping bonuses?
