Let’s face it, the swimsuits and flip-flops your kids wore last summer probably won’t fit this summer. Maybe you already have some in the next size up stashed away, but if you don’t, you likely have some online shopping to do in the very near term. If you happen to have $200 in purchases to make in the next couple days, you can pick up 500 bonus United miles in the process thanks to a United MileagePlus Shopping promo that runs until 5/24/2018.

Earn 500 bonus United miles on online purchases

To pick up 500 bonus United miles, just start your online purchases to one of the hundreds of retailers available from the United MileagePlus Shopping site and spend a cumulative of $200 from 5/14/2018 – 5/24/2018 (that’s Thursday). If you aren’t familiar with the airline shopping sites, you will find a crop of very familiar retailers including Old Navy, J. Crew, Gap, Land’s End, Pottery Barn, Apple, Target, Walmart, Saks, and so many more. This is a one-time 500 mile bonus, but it will stack with the normal miles per dollar you earn on your purchases.

For example, eBags is currently awarding 15x United miles per dollar, so a $200 purchase there would net you 3,000 United miles for the purchase at 15x miles per dollar, plus trigger the 500-mile bonus. You can also earn another 100 bonus United miles for $50 in purchases at Kohl’s or eBags.

Regardless of what you need to purchase, if you do it via the United MileagePlus shopping site by May 24, 2018, you can turn your $200+ in purchases into 500 extra United miles.
